iuriio.com is a personal blog. The short version: I do not collect, store, or share any personal data about visitors.

What I do not do

  • No analytics or tracking scripts.
  • No advertising or third-party trackers.
  • No accounts, sign-ups, or user profiles.
  • No tracking cookies.

Data stored in your browser

A few features save preferences locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to me or anyone else:

  • Your light/dark theme preference.
  • The list of posts you have saved for later.

You can clear this data at any time through your browser's site settings.

Server logs

The site is served by a hosting provider that may keep standard request logs (such as IP addresses and user agents) for short periods to operate the service and protect against abuse. I do not access, analyze, or retain those logs myself.

Third-party content

Posts occasionally embed or link to third-party content (for example, code snippets or images hosted elsewhere). Those providers have their own privacy practices, which I do not control.

Web tools

This site offers a set of web tools under /tools that inspect a web address you provide, such as previewing how a page looks when shared or checking its response headers. When you use one of these tools, the address you submit is sent to this site's server, which fetches that page on your behalf so it can be analyzed. This is the one case where information you enter is sent off your device.

Submitted addresses are used only to produce the result you asked for and are held briefly in a temporary cache to speed up repeat requests. They are not linked to your identity and are not used to build any profile.

URL safety checks

To help protect visitors from harmful links, web addresses the site fetches on your behalf (for example, the pages you inspect with the web tools, and link previews or images loaded within posts) may be checked against Google Safe Browsing. When this check runs, the address is sent to Google so it can report whether that address is known for phishing, malware, or unwanted software. Google handles the request under its own privacy policy. No other information about you is included.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
